. This is your best opportunity to sell your idea to the Foundation.
If we don’t already know you, introduce yourself to the Foundation. What is your role within the Georgetown Central School this year?
*
Explain as fully as possible: What is the unit or project you want to support? What is its place in the curriculum? How to you propose to enhance this curriculum?
*
What makes this unit important or special for Georgetown students? What immediate outcomes do you anticipate?

Budget:
The Foundation cannot accept an application without a budget. The grant award amount will be based upon this budget, up to $250.00 in any school year. Itemize to the extent possible and estimate where necessary. Attach a supplier invoice if one is available. If you are ordering from a specific online supplier (e.g. Amazon.com), attach a print of the item page or the “Cart” for the order. You may also make your own budget document and attach it. The more work you do on this part of the application, the better. The budget categorie might include:
1. Fees
2. Travel expenses for students and/or presenters
3. Cost of materials and supplies (be specific - you must have a specific plan in order to be considered for a grant)
4. Other expenses necessary for you to provide this learning project or experience

Accountability and Reporting
As a grant recipient, you will be accountable for communicating the successful completion of your grant. This should be done via a meeting with the Foundation, a letter, or an email. As some ideas may develop into more significant grant applications, an accurate accounting of expenditures and a record of student responses to the grant is desirable. An accountability statement is due within one month of the grant award.
