Self-Directed Learning grants can be used exclusively towards equipment/supplies/materials that are intended for use in combination with self-directed instruction.

Grant Reporting

All grant recipients are accountable for demonstrating the successful completion of their project or program and for documenting the student learning experience. This can be done in any format: web-based, in-person, in print, or other. Depending upon the project, the Foundation will tell the grantee when an accountability statement is due.

Handling Funds

When an application is funded, funds will be sent directly to the educational program and/or supplier whenever possible. In the case of teacher-applicants, funds may be deposited into a program account. It is the responsibility of the applicant to keep an accurate accounting of funds spent. This accounting will be given to the Foundation by the end of the school year.
